music magazine planning- contents page flat plan

This is my flat plans for my magazines contents page and i have chosen two completely layouts to help me in deciding my magazines layout.

The masthead is situated at the top sicking to typical conventions of a contents page. In the top right corner i have included a thumbnail of the front cover to give it a moe professional look to it .

the main image is going down the left side with a normal image above it and a cover line below it but the main image is easily recognisable as the main image due to its size difference in comparison to the other normal sized images. Along the right side the is an image followed by two cover lines. Each image has a page number in it to make navigating through the magazine easy and this will make reading my magazine a more enjoyable experience.

This  flat plan is similar to my first flat plan accept all the images are going along the left of the page and the cover lines positioned right next to them on the right .

I have included an editors letter in the bottom right corner as     this can be an interesting read for readers and increases the         magazines readability and I also included an issue number         above the editors letter to keep the readers informed about         the magazine and also i have made better use of the page           rather than leaving a lot of white space throughout.
