In what
ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of
real media products?
1.When making my cover page and contents page for my
preliminary task, I used certain things similar to real life media products so
that my cover looked as professional as it possibly could.
The layout of my school magazine was similar to many other
magazine layouts: on my front cover I used one main image that covered the
whole page to make the magazine more attractive to my target audience and on my
contents page I used one main image instead of three or four because it gives a
less cluttered look to it making it an easier read. I positioned my Coverlines
going down the right hand side of the magazine each placed in different
sections to make the cover page clear and overall an organised look to it so
that it’s easy to read and understand. The contents page also has the pages
labelled down the right hand side with the page numbers available so that you
can easily go to your desired page without having to look through pages to find
what it is you are looking.
Through the bright and attractive colour scheme I used made
up of reds, yellows and greens, also including all the same fonts throughout
